As I mentioned last week, I had big plans to touch up the paint on our kitchen cabinets over the weekend. Unfortunately, I never found the time to complete that project. Our oldest daughter had choir rehearsal and a concert on Saturday, and then we decided to go pumpkin picking on Sunday. Sorry for the delay. I will try to get that projected wrapped up by next week.
Today, I thought I would share some great deals I stumbled upon a few weeks ago. Our town was hosting their annual town-wide yard-sale. Normally, I am not a yard-sale type of girl. I don’t really like rummaging through other people’s clutter. And also, I am terrified that we’ll get bed bugs. But this year, I decided to go look for used Halloween costumes to help save us a little money.
The first few houses we stopped at were a bust. Nothing good. But then I hit the jackpot. I stumbled upon this beautiful Smith and Hawken wreath for only $5! Without hesitation, I purchased it. It is the perfect fall wreath…
Right after I purchased the wreath, my youngest daughter found a witch costume for $5. It is so cute and fits her perfectly…
Finally, I purchased an astronaut costume for my 10 year old son. He loves it, and best of all, it was only $5 too…
Nothing makes me happier than finding a good deal and saving my family money!
