It’s not as bad as last month, but it’s still a loss of $2,023. To be honest, I’m more worried about finding pictures of things falling if this continues. When you are using free images, it’s harder than you would think.
November was our last positive month. In total, with deposits, we are -$16,637 in my work 401k and -$2,083 in our Roth IRAs (is it just me or is it annoying when people say IRA like it’s a persons name? I do that with other acronyms, but I prefer I.R.A.)
My work 401k says we have a -6.62% rate of return since 10/1/21. I’ll be interested to see what it is by the end of the fiscal year.
Next month I’ll be running our numbers through the retirement calculator again. I’m looking forward to seeing where it says we’ll be when I’m 62, with the markets being down lately.
Investment | Deposit | Balance | Growth |
Work 401k | $1,268 | $112,610 | -$1,795 |
Roth IRAs | $1,000 | $29,548 | -$228 |
