This month in Savings, we had to pay out $3,875 toward our new roof. They allowed $2,500 to be put on a credit card, so we did that and will pay that out of Savings when our bill comes. We are still above $20,000, but not for long. That $6,375 for the roof really hurt.
We saved our usual $500 and another $80. Christy also transferred $36.87 from interest we’ve earned in our Emergency Fund. In Savings, we earned $5.80 in interest.
Nothing exciting in Vacation. Though I’ll take the boredom over exciting, if hemorrhaging money is exciting that is. We saved our normal $200 and earned .62¢ in interest.
Next month is our new fiscal year at work, so hopefully there will be an increase and we will have a little extra money to work with going forward.
