It’s been a busy month. Between work and the kitchen remodel, it’s hard to find time to keep up with my weekly posts. I don’t know how Christy does it. She has a full time job (schooling and raising the kids), she has been working on the kitchen too, and she always finds time to post. She’s amazing.
On the plus side, the kitchen is nearing completion. With the exception of all the cabinet doors, we “should” have a functioning kitchen in time for Thanksgiving.
Speaking of work, I have to clock in to my day job, so I’ll make this brief.
In savings we saved our normal $500 and an additional $334.25 with $13 in interest. Due to the kitchen, we spent $12,597!!! Luckily, the kitchen is nearing completion. The only other major expenses should be the granite and backsplash. Those should be paid within the next month. Then we can get back to growing.
In vacation we saved our normal $200 and were able to save an additional $175 with $2.54 in interest.
In our emergency fund, we saved $600 with an additional $200 and $8 in interest.
At least 2 of our 3 accounts had a gain.
Savings | $22,000 |
Vacation | $3,230 |
Emergency Fund | $10,116 |
