On the last day of our vacation to Universal Orlando, we had a few hours to kill before our flight. Christy did her thing where she finds a family fun activity and this time she came up with fan boat tours. She found a couple of places, but we decided on Wild Willy’s Airboat Tours.
Having never lived or vacationed in a place like Florida (since we had kids), it was quite an experience. We saw a bald eagle and it’s nest, which was pretty cool.
We only saw one little alligator up close and one adult from far away, but just riding through the marsh area (is that the correct term?) was really awesome.
Going out over the open water was absolutely beautiful.
After the ride, you get a chance to touch and hold a baby alligator. Hopefully these pictures of us exploiting a baby alligator don’t get PETA to picket outside our house.
They also have a small store where you can buy souvenirs where we picked an ornament for the Christmas tree.
All in all, it was a great experience. If you ever find yourself in the Orlando area, head by Wild Willy’s and check it out.
